Das Gewebe der Ausstellung bildet ein Dialog zwischen Luchezar Boyadjiev und Ottjörg A.C. über Männlichkeit, Eroberung, in Besitznahme, Kolonialisierung. Was können sie in einer Welt bedeuten, in der sich die Konstante des physikalischen Raums seit über 100 Jahren aufgelöst hat gleichzeitig aber Staatsgrenzen, ob alt oder aktuell um so heftiger als Konstante behauptet werden. Was bedeutet Kolonialismus für ein Land wie Bulgarien, das 500 Jahre osmanische Kolonie war, 45 Jahre im Einfluss der Soviet-Union. Was bedeutet Dekolonialiserung im Kontext einer Bevölkerung, die sich spaltet in einen Teil, der von einem Groß-Bulgarien träumt, das an drei Meere grenzt und einem Teil Roma, der stolz darauf ist, nie einen Krieg zur Erringung von Territorien geführt zu haben.

The mesh of the exhibition is a dialogue between Luchezar Boyadjiev und Ottjörg A.C. about masculinity, conquest, in possession, colonization. What can they mean in a world in which the constant of physical space has dissolved for over 100 years, but at the same time state borders, whether old or current, are asserted all the more violently as constants. What does colonialism mean for a country like Bulgaria, which was an Ottoman colony for 500 years, 45 years under the influence of the Soviet Union? What does decolonization mean in the context of a population that splits into a part that dreams of a Greater Bulgaria bordering three seas and a part Roma that is proud of never having waged a war to win territories?
